Toronto –
– This past Sunday, Bodhi Meditation Toronto, a holistic health center based in North York, held its annual event commemorating Chinese Lunar New Year. The event drew more than eight hundred attendees of all ages from across the GTA, and was a celebration of the rich traditions of Eastern culture, including lion and dragon dances, live musical performances, and a variety of food and other goods. The event was also attended by representatives from all three levels of government.
“Bodhi Meditation Toronto is honoured to have celebrated the Chinese New Year alongside esteemed community leaders and guests,” commented a representative from Bodhi Meditation Toronto. “This event was a wonderful opportunity to share the rich cultural traditions of our community while fostering unity and collaboration. At Bodhi Meditation, we are dedicated to promoting health and happiness, and we look forward to continuing to build meaningful connections throughout the year.”
This year’s festival was co-organized by GTA Strategies, a business and government relations firm, who provided logistical support and facilitated VIP attendance. “Lunar New Year is one of the biggest celebrations in our city, and this event was a perfect example of that,” said GTA Strategies principal Jeremy Beamer. “To see so many people from different backgrounds, all celebrating together, is a testament to Toronto’s diversity and inclusivity.”
