MISSISSAUGA – This past week, the Indo-Canadian Food Services held a grand re-opening of the Mississauga location of their world-renowned Saravanaa Bhavan restaurant chain. The event kicked off with congratulatory speeches and a lamp lighting ceremony, followed by delicious food and drinks. Attending VIPs included Ganesan Sugumar, President and CEO of the Indo-Canadian Food Services, Toronto MP Jean Yip, and elected officials. GTA Strategies principals Hon. Jim Karygiannis and Kyle Chamberlain also attended the celebration.
The re-opening was the culmination of nearly two years of work, which was spearheaded by GTA Strategies, who helped with coordinating key stakeholders of the project regarding zoning, design, and construction. Additionally, GTA Strategies assisted Saravanaa Bhavan with successfully obtaining a building permit for renovations and achieving occupancy of the restaurant.
At the opening ceremony, Kyle Chamberlain said, “It is an honour to continue working with the Indo-Canadian Food Services team to help them with their grand re-opening of the Mississauga Saravanaa Bhavan restaurant. It is great to be able to help this thriving restaurant chain and community leader with all their municipal affairs and construction projects.”
The team members from GTA Strategies are honoured to be involved with the grand re-opening of the Saravanaa Bhavan in Mississauga, as the restaurant further adds to the Canadian multicultural mosaic by bringing delightful flavours of India through a diverse and hearty vegetarian menu.
