Scarborough <\/b><\/span>\u2013 <\/span>Last week, Agincourt-based production facility D&D Poultry was visited by Francis Drouin, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food. The visit was organized in order to showcase D&D Poultry\u2019s products and facilities, including new freezer equipment obtained partially through federal funding.<\/p>\n

<\/a>\u201cD&D Poultry has been operating as a family business for more than twenty years, \u201cwe have always strived to provide the very best products to our customers,\u201d said Betty Dikeos, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for D&D Poultry. \u201cWe do that by having the best processes available in our facility and in turn, providing quality products to our clients, government funding goes a long way in making that possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also attending the tour was Jean Yip, Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt.<\/p>\n

The visit was facilitated by GTA Strategies, a business and government relations firm, who were also vital in D&D Poultry obtaining the funding for this latest development. \u201cOur firm has been working with D&D Poultry for years, but I\u2019ve known the Dikeos family even longer,\u201d commented The Honourable Jim Karygiannis, principal for GTA Strategies and former MP for Scarborough-Agincourt. \u201cThey have always put their customers first, and our firm is happy to be a part of that ongoing commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n
