Among the highlights of the tour was the unveiling of D&amp;D Poultry\u2019s new linear oven, which was partially funded through grants from the Provincial and Federal governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur family has been running this company for more than twenty years, and we are proud of the service we provide to the food industry,\u201d said Betty Dikeos, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for D&amp;D Poultry. \u201cThis latest update to our facility is going to streamline a lot of our processing, and allow us to get more products out to our customers, faster.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also present for the tour were local MPP Aris Babikian and Franco Naccarato, Executive Director of Meat &amp; Poultry Ontario. \u201cI\u2019m continually blown away by the strides made by our members in advancing their businesses,\u201d commented Naccarato. \u201cWhen one business thrives, we all share in that success, and I\u2019m very proud of D&amp;D\u2019s success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tour was organized by GTA Strategies, a business and government relations firm, who were also vital in D&amp;D Poultry obtaining the funding for this latest development. \u201cI\u2019ve known the Dikeos family for a long time now, and I\u2019ve seen firsthand the commitment this family has to their customers and their staff,\u201d commented The Honourable Jim Karygiannis, GTA Strategies principal and former MP for Scarborough-Agincourt. \u201cThey\u2019ve come a long way over the years, and I can\u2019t wait to see what they do next.\u201d<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d1c8c30 e-flex e-con-boxed parallax_section_no qode_elementor_container_no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"d1c8c30\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3fa5a0b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3fa5a0b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Photo credits &#8211; pictured (left to right): Elias Diamantopoulos Project Manager GTA Strategies,\u00a0 Franco Naccarato, Executive Director of Meat \u2013 Poultry Ontario; Hon.
