TORONTO<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Earlier this week, GTA Strategies,\u00a0a business and government relations firm, hosted forty government officials from across Nigeria as part of a training conference on the impacts of Canadian government on nation-building.<\/p>\n\n

Held in Niagara Falls over three days, the conference covered multiple subjects, including a detailed overview of the three levels of government, their interactions with each other, and the effects of Canada\u2019s multicultural makeup on how our society functions. Delegates also participated in roundtable discussions on how the information provided could best be implemented in their own communities.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe have run five conferences over the last year, and I can honestly say that the program has gotten better every single time\u201d, commented Hon. Jim Karygiannis, former Toronto city councillor and principal of GTA Strategies. \u201cThe delegates have been engaged and responsive, and are always interested in digging deeper into the subjects we present. I\u2019m proud of the program our team has put together, and I couldn\u2019t be happier with our results.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the training sessions, attendees visited historic Niagara Falls, as well as the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and Toronto City Hall.<\/p>\n\n
